His work has taken him to a multitude of countries including The Gambia, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Tanzania and Syria and in April 2015 along with other volunteers from Humanity First Medical, Simon was deployed to the Nepal earthquake to provide remote medical care to the people of Nepal.

More recently, he was involved with a small team delivering essential medical and humanitarian supplies to the Poland/Ukraine border for the use of health care professionals and civilians within the war zone.

All Red-2 Medical instructors have the relevant experience and qualification in their field, so you can be sure that you are being taught by those that have the experience and knowledge to safely deliver what you need to know. All of the instructors hold registration with our awarding body, Qualsafe Awards, and have experience of teaching to national and international audiences. If you are after a course that satisfies a "tick in the box" for insurance or HSE requirements, then we are not for you. If however you require training from those who have "been there and done that", with real life experience who can tell you what the book doesn't, then get in touch.
